The
Royal Artillery Hunt
Tradition You Feel - Community You Join
Established 1907
Steeped in history and proudly associated with the Royal Regiment of Artillery, the Royal Artillery Hunt has a long and distinguished tradition of hunting with hounds across the beautiful countryside of Wiltshire.
Today, we continue that heritage through drag hunting, combining the traditions of the hunting field with the enjoyment of watching our hounds work; riding across magnificent country and the camaraderie that has always been at the heart of the Hunt.
Whilst our military heritage remains an important part of our identity, the Royal Artillery Hunt warmly welcomes everyone. Whether serving or retired military personnel, civilian riders, experienced followers or complete newcomers - all are invited to share in our traditions and enjoy the unique atmosphere of a day with hounds.
A Welcome from the Senior Master
It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Royal Artillery Hunt website.
Our Hunt has a proud history and a unique connection with the Royal Regiment of Artillery. These are traditions we value enormously, but equally important are the friendships, camaraderie and shared enjoyment of our hounds and countryside that continue to bring people together.
Whether you have followed hounds for many years, are considering joining us for the first time, or simply wish to learn more about the Hunt, you will find a warm welcome here.
My fellow Masters and I look forward to seeing you during the season and sharing with you the traditions, friendships and enjoyment that make the Royal Artillery Hunt so special.
